RM of Prairie Rose’s story
The Rural Municipality of Prairie Rose No. 309 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910. It lies in the central part of Saskatchewan, within Census Division No. 10 and SARM Division No. 5.
The village of Jansen sits within the RM's boundaries, and the unincorporated locality of Esk is found here as well. Today the RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Wednesday of each month, and the municipal office is in Jansen.
